Outlook: The Chargers ended a 10-year playoff drought in 2013, but failed to make the postseason despite finishing above .500 last year.

Willis is out to get his team back in the postseason this year.

Dixon returns for his third season, and was an All-Sunset League pick last year. He ran for 320 yards and four TDs, but had 726 yards and 10 scores as a sophomore.

Kinnard should be better with a year of experience. He passed for 1,071 yards and 10 scores, but will look to improve on his 48.5 percent completion rate and cut down on interceptions after throwing 11 last year.

Willis said the question will be on the offensive line, where the Chargers have little experience.

"If the offensive line comes along, Milan Dixon will have a huge year," Willis said.

On defense, A'Hearn returns after making the All-Sunset League first team last season. He posted 57 tackles and two sacks, and should key the defensive unit.

Clark was among five teams tied at 4-3 in the league last season, and wound up in sixth place on tiebreakers. The playoff race should be interesting again this year, with at least six teams in the mix for the league's four playoff berths.

"We expect to make the playoffs," Willis said.
