FLAG FOOTBALL: Franklin, Cowboys top Miners

Neshaune' Franklin rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries Tuesday to lead Chaparral's flag football team to a 20-12 home victory over Sunrise Mountain.

Alyssa Porras had eight tackles for the Cowboys, who led 7-6 at the half.

Cheyenne 53, Sierra Vista 26 — At Sierra Vista, Liliana Cadacio threw three touchdown passes and ran for a score to lead the Desert Shields by the Mountain Lions.

Cadacio completed 9 of 14 passes for 149 yards, including TD strikes to Destiny Monroe, Emoni Albert and Girly Tambeagbor.

Angela Hammond rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries for Cheyenne, which also got a TD run from Dorothy Chapman.

Spring Valley 30, Clark 21 — At Clark, Michaela Hood threw for 331 yards and five touchdowns, and Doris Gutierrez-Hoyos caught nine passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns as the Grizzlies outlasted the Chargers.

Jozee DeCunzo caught three passes for 110 yards and a touchdown and ran for 66 yards on 11 carries for Spring Valley. Sala Mamaia and Jasmine Fualau each caught a TD pass for the Grizzlies.

Jasmine Brooks rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries for Clark, and teammate Destinie McGhee added a touchdown run.

Mojave 41, Western 0 — At Mojave, Paige Smith rushed for two touchdowns as the Rattlers beat the Warriors.

Leilani Limtiaco added a scoring run and a TD pass, and Danyelle Hurd and Raven Williams each rushed for a touchdown.

Michelle Hernandez caught a TD pass for Mojave, which led 28-0 at the half.

Virgin Valley 40, Desert Pines 14 — At Mesquite, Kallie Graves threw three touchdown passes to lead the Bulldogs by the Jaguars.

Legacy 19, Shadow Ridge 12 —At Shadow Ridge, Akia Williams ran for a score and caught a touchdown pass to lead the Longhorns by the Mustangs.

Traonna Hamblett rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, and Williams rushed for 141 yards on 14 carries for Legacy. Nicole White completed 5 of 8 passes for 52 yards, including the TD toss to Williams.

Shadow Ridge's Victoria Tolle passed for 178 yards, including a TD pass to Sophia Triana. Jordan Ford added a TD run for the Mustangs.

Tech 19, Del Sol 12 — At Del Sol, the Roadrunners topped the Dragons.

Tarika Poullard rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown for Del Sol.

Palo Verde 45, Durango 7 — At Durango, the Panthers built a 32-0 halftime lead and rolled past the Trailblazers.

Jasmin Marayonk rushed for a touchdown for Durango.

Boulder City 53, Moapa Valley 12 — At Boulder City, the Eagles routed the Pirates.
