Outlook: The Bulldogs 8-0 before a 21-16 loss to Arbor View in the season finale last fall, and look ready to contend for the league title again this season.

Stevenson is back to lead the offense. He was a second-team all-state selection at running back after rushing for 1,457 yards and 17 TDs as a junior.

Evans said the offensive line has improved, which should make the hard-charging Stevenson a bigger threat. Martorello, a second-team all-league pick at center, should lead the line.

Scarver was a first-team all-league wide receiver after leading the Bulldogs with 16 catches for 351 yards and five TDs.

Defensively, Evans expects the front seven to be among the best in the area.

Rogers (6-4, 290) is a big-time recruit who already holds offers from several Pac-12 schools including Arizona, Arizona State and UCLA. He had 37 tackles and two sacks and was a first-team all-league defensive tackle. He will join Williamson (39 tackles) and Rodriguez (32 tackles, 5 sacks) on what should be a very strong line.

Barnaby was second on the team with 66 tackles last season, and should lead the linebackers.

Evans is concerned about the kicking game as he must find a replacement for all-state kicker Mays.
