Isai Barrios had 19 kills Friday to help Chaparral’s boys volleyball team to a 28-26, 21-25, 21-25, 25-18, 15-7 win over host Liberty.
Ray Almanda added nine kills, and Cesar Mendoza had 10 digs for the Cowboys.
Kenyon Oblad led Liberty with nine kills, 42 digs and six blocks. Ian Tia had 18 kills and seven blocks, and Jerry Ward had 11 kills and seven blocks for the Patriots.
