TENNIS: Del Sol’s boys nip visiting Chaparral

Christian Wallace and Matt Styck went 3-0 in doubles Friday to help Del Sol’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 win over visiting Chaparral.

Alex Walker and Jonathon Hart were 2-0 in doubles for the Dragons.

Brandon Scott and Tyler Crone each went 3-0 in singles for the Cowboys.

Basic 11, Eldorado 7 — At Basic, the doubles teams of Evan Yeager and Haydon Cook, and Tanner Roundy and Nick Stellavato each went 3-0 to help the Wolves beat the Sundevils.

Eldorado’s Trevor Swain and Jacob Sedillo both went 3-0 in singles.

Desert Pines 9, Boulder City 8 — At Desert Pines, the Jaguars nipped the Eagles.

Andre Pappas was 3-0 in singles for Boulder City.

Shadow Ridge 12, Durango 6 — At Durango, Wesley Custer went 2-1 in singles to lead the Mustangs by the Trailblazers.

Durango’s Marc Viernes was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Mitchell Pate and Nikola Zelenovic also went 3-0 for the Trailblazers.

Moapa Valley 14, Tech 4 — At Overton, Andy Beckstrand was 2-0 in singles to lead the Pirates by the Roadrunners.

The doubles teams of Kirby May and Riley Longman, and Hayden Dimick and Koby Frei both went 2-0 for Moapa Valley.

Clark 15, Mojave 3 — At Mojave, Andrew Lim went 3-0 in singles to help the Chargers down the Rattlers.

The doubles team of Christian Ong and Justin Ong was 2-0, and Sammy Cox was 2-1 in singles for Clark.

Mojave’s Anthony Gredinger was 2-1 in singles.

Coronado 16, Rancho 2 — At Rancho, Kyle Harris went 3-0 in singles to lead the Cougars by the Rams.

Sam Grant was 2-0 in singles for Coronado.

Jacob Egan and Andy Gamboa went 2-0 in doubles for Rancho.

Virgin Valley 17, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Tyler Hughes, Chris Cannon and Eric Luna each went 3-0 in singles as the Bulldogs downed the Miners.

Palo Verde 17, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Rhett Bossung and Danny Patho both went 3-0 in singles to lift the Panthers over the Longhorns.

Silverado 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Silverado, the Skyhawks won by forfeit.

Basic 11, Eldorado 7 — At Basic, the doubles teams of Nicole Dirilo and Britney Green, and Charlotte Skaflestad and Valerie Muhr each went 3-0 as the Wolves topped the Sundevils.

Eldorado’s Melissa Guerrero and Cheyenne Delicate each went 3-0 in singles.

Coronado 11, Rancho 7 – At Rancho, Nikoletta Nikoloff was 3-0 in singles to help the Cougars top the Rams.

Camille Solla and Mina McCormick were 2-0 in doubles for Coronado.

Rosalyn Ngo and Buvaneshwari Sathiskumar each went 2-0 in singles for Rancho.

Boulder City 11, Desert Pines 7 — At Desert Pines, the doubles team of Sariah Gneiting and Alexis LeMaster went 2-0 to help the Eagles top the Jaguars.

Arianne Hess was 2-1 in singles for Boulder City.

Desert Pines’ Ashley Palacios was 2-1 in singles.

Silverado 12, Canyon Springs 6 — At Silverado, Jenna Wyson was 2-0 in singles to help the Skyhawks down the Pioneers.

Celia Plyman was 2-1 in singles for Canyon Springs.

Durango 12, Shadow Ridge 6 — At Durango, Sonia Tamara and Anne Jiang both went 3-0 in singles to help the Trailblazers to victory over the Mustangs.

The doubles teams of Gabrielle Leynes and Brittany Gomez, and Jamie Wong and Princess Canasa each went 3-0 for Durango.

Tech 12, Moapa Valley 6 — At Overton, Jasmine Thawesee and Yazaret Arredondo were both 3-0 in singles as the Roadrunners trumped the Pirates.

Moapa Valley’s Lindsey Leavitt and Kinzi Robinson went 2-0 in doubles.

Virgin Valley 16, Sunrise Mountain 2 — At Sunrise Mountain, Sara Anderson, Emily Leavitt and Natilyn Faught each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bulldogs past the Miners.

Del Sol 17, Chaparral 1 — At Del Sol, Milady Ramirez and Alina Marruffo each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Dragons by the Cowboys.

The doubles teams of Alex Hoyer and Lizette Rios, Isabel Hernandez and Jordan Haines, and Paloma Marcos and Alheli Corona all went 3-0 for Del Sol.

Palo Verde 18, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Annie Walker, Kristen Newell and Alissa Till each went 2-0 in singles as the Panthers blanked the Longhorns.

Clark at Mojave — The Clark at Mojave match was halted after two rounds due to darkness with the Chargers holding a 9-3 lead. A resumption date has not been scheduled.
