BOYS SWIMMING: Jesperson, Renner guide Foothill by Wildcats

Kaden Jesperson and Denver Renner each won two individual events Saturday to help Foothill’s boys swimming team to a 200-68 win over Las Vegas at Heritage Park.

Jesperson won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.47 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 1:02.97.

Renner captured the 200 freestyle in 1:50.46 and the 100 butterfly in 53.89.

Basic 165, Liberty 65 — At Heritage Park, Carter Estes won two individual events to lead the Wolves by the Patriots.

Estes took the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.31 and the 100 freestyle in 59.62.

Coronado 210, Silverado 48 — At Heritage Park, the Cougars had eight individuals each win one event on their way to a rout of the Skyhawks.

Morgan Scott won the 500 freestyle in 5:34.76 and took second in the 200 individual medley for Coronado.

Eldorado 143, Virgin Valley 42 — At Heritage Park, Tyler Harper was first in two individual events to help the Sundevils down the Bulldogs.

Harper won the 50 freestyle in 25.73 and the 200 freestyle in 2:09.51.

Legacy 225, Bonanza 36 — At Pavilion, Garrett Jones and Taven Hendrex each won two individual events to help the Longhorns rout the Bengals.

Jones won the 100 backstroke in 1:01.41 and the 100 butterfly in 59.22.

Hendrex took the 50 freestyle in 25.99 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:04.5.

Centennial 169, Cimarron-Memorial 64 — At Pavilion, Steve Giles, Jackson Larson, Alex Stevens and Daniel Vidal each won one individual event and finished second in another to help the Bulldogs down the Spartans.

Giles won the 100 butterfly in 1:20.21 and was second in the 500 freestyle. Larson won the 50 freestyle in 24.29 and was second in the 200 freestyle.

Stevens took the 200 individual medley in 2:33.64 and was second in the 100 freestyle. Vidal won the 100 freestyle in 1:00.93 and was second in the 100 backstroke.

Palo Verde 214, Durango 44 — At Pavilion, Bryce Rogers won two individual events to lead the Panthers by the Trailblazers.

Rogers won the 50 freestyle in 23.07 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.12.

Durango’s Nicholas McDowell won the 100 butterfly in 56.0 and was second to Rogers in the 50 freestyle.

Desert Pines 95, Cheyenne 56 — At Pavilion, Siavash Mirzazadeh won two individual events to help the Jaguars defeat the Desert Shields.

Mirzazadeh won the 100 freestyle in 54.18 and the 200 individual medley in 2:24.94.

Cheyenne’s Aidan Nartker took the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.75 and the 500 freestyle in 5:39.52.

Sunrise Mountain 95, Chaparral 71 — At Heritage Park, Thomas Menter and Bryan Rodriguez each won two individual events to lead the Miners by the Cowboys.

Menter took the 100 freestyle in 52.97 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.46. Rodriguez claimed the 50 freestyle in 26.49 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 58.31.

Chaparral’s Jesus Ruiz won the 200 individual medley in 2:49.75 and the 100 backstroke in 1:27.39.

Rancho 104, Moapa Valley 74 — At Heritage Park, Nathan Weinstock won two individual events to lead the Rams by the Pirates.

Weinstock captured the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.51 and the 100 butterfly in 1:04.04.

Moapa Valley’s Nathaniel Thompson won the 100 freestyle in 57.66 and the 100 backstroke in 1:14.14.

Boulder City 160, Valley 98 — At Heritage Park, Nick Lara was first in two individual events as the Eagles downed the Vikings.

Lara claimed the 200 freestyle in 1:46.76 and the 100 butterfly in 53.73.

Tech 153, Del Sol 127 — At Heritage Park, Michael Pecjak won two individual events as the Roadrunners defeated the Dragons.

Pecjak was first in the 200 freestyle in 2:06.88 and the 500 freestyle in 5:57.55.

Del Sol’s Stuart Hall won the 100 butterfly in 1:09.41 and the 200 individual medley in 2:20.22.
