SOCCER: Bahena’s three goals help Cimarron boys down Legacy

Arturo Bahena scored three goals Friday to lead Cimarron-Memorial's boys soccer team to a 5-0 win over visiting Legacy.

Dresden Quackenbush added a goal and an assist, and Ernesto Figueroa also scored for the Spartans.

Richard Crews recorded the shutout for Cimarron.

Mojave 1, Spring Valley 0 — At Mojave, Eduardo Luna's second-half goal lifted the Rattlers by the Grizzlies.

Jesus Angulo recorded the shutout for Mojave.

Adelson School 3, Moapa Valley 0 — At Adelson School, Nevo Ziv, Ben Elharrar and Sam Shain each scored once in the first half to lead the Lions by the Pirates.

Madison Bahel was in goal for the shutout.

Cheyenne 3, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Josey Zapata, Christian Soalke and Brian Orellana each scored once as the Desert Shields blanked the Trojans.

Jonathan Hernandez was in goal for the shutout.

GIRLS

Cheyenne 2, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Cheyenne, Yadira Erives and Moani Pyka each scored once in the first half to help the Desert Shields edge the Trojans.

Grace Gundacker scored for Pahrump.

Spring Valley 9, Mojave 0 — At Spring Valley, Sahana Bojorquez had three goals and an assist, and Jozee DeCunzo added two goals and two assists as the Grizzlies routed the Rattlers.

Samantha Meyers had a goal and three assists, and Anna Orme, Savannah Villanueva and Caitlin Murata also scored for Spring Valley.

Mackenzie Carcelli made two saves en route to the shutout.
