Clark boys soccer scores early, often to beat Cheyenne

Oscar Mata and Juan Sanchez-Moran scored 40 seconds apart in the first five minutes of the match Friday to propel Clark’s boys soccer team to a 9-0 win at Cheyenne.

Jose Martinez had two goals and two assists for the Chargers, who led 6-0 at the half.

Mata and David Ginsburg each scored two first-half goals for Clark, which also got goals from Luis Chavez and Ismael Martinez. Ivan Lopez and Eduardo Martinez each had two assists.

Ramon Ramirez and Tristan Polakowski combined on the shutout.
