BOYS SOCCER: Omar Miranda’s hat trick helps Chaparral edge Tech

Omar Miranda had three goals and an assist on Monday as Chaparral’s boys soccer team rallied to top visiting Tech, 4-3.

Jonathan Raffta added a goal for the Cowboys, who trailed 2-1 at the half.

Joel Velazquez scored twice for the Roadrunners, who benefited from an own goal by Chaparral.

Spring Valley 2, Clark 1 — At Clark, Dominic Velasco scored twice to lead the Grizzlies by the Chargers.

David Van Hoose assisted on both goals for Spring Valley.

Abraham Dolley scored for Clark.

Coronado 3, Green Valley 1 — At Green Valley, Preston Judd had a goal and an assist to lead the Cougars by the Gators.

John Lynam and Braydon Lopez also scored for Coronado, which scored twice in the second half to break a 1-1 tie.

Elyjiah DeLeon scored off an assist from Pablo Pena for Green Valley.

Foothill 3, Liberty 0 — At Foothill, Dylan Verrastro, Stanley Henderson and Hunter Huber each had a goal as the Falcons beat the Patriots.

Isaac Olsen, Reagan Mugume and Trent Milne each had an assist for the Falcons. Logan Lake and William Potter combined on the shutout.

Bonanza 2, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Juan Rodriguez and Jonas Bryant each scored a second-half goal to give the Bengals the win over the Diamondbacks.

Haiko Hovak scored for Desert Oasis.

Virgin Valley 3, Moapa Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Miguel Escobedo had two goals to lead the Bulldogs over the Pirates.

Roman Perez also had a goal for Virgin Valley.

Israel Rubio and Frans-Josef Biebl each had a goal for Moapa Valley.

Del Sol 7, Boulder City 1 — At Del Sol, Diego Nieves had four goals and an assist to lead the Dragons over the Eagles.

Sergio Calderon had two goals and two assists, and Erik Serrano added a goal and an assist for the Del Sol.

Alex Krausman scored for Boulder City.

Silverado 9, Basic 0 — At Basic, the Skyhawks scored six times in the second half en route to the easy win.

Juan Madero, Tristan Alvarez and Joel Samayoa each had a pair of goals for the Skyhawks. Jamie Ayala, Sunil Subba and Sean Borla each scored once for Silverado, and Payton Randall had five assists.

Landon Schmucker had two saves in the shutout.
