BOYS SOCCER: Durango rallies late to top Cimarron

The Durango’s boys soccer team scored a pair of late goals and goalie Paolo Sarnataro made a key diving save to deny a penalty-kick attempt Friday as the Trailblazers rallied by host Cimarron-Memorial, 2-1.

Tyson Tesfamariam converted a penalty kick, and teammate Marcos Delgado added a goal minutes later for Durango, which trailed 1-0 in the second half.

Arturo Bahena scored for Cimarron.

Legacy 2, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Matthew Beasley and Diego Cuevas each scored a second-half goal as the Longhorns rallied to defeat the Rattlers.

Oscar Gonzalez and Omar Alvarez had an assist for Legacy, which trailed 1-0 at halftime.

Anibal Ponce scored for Mojave.

Foothill 1, Arbor View 1 — At Arbor View, Christian Limon scored to tie the game and force a draw for the Aggies in their game against the Falcons.

Limon’s goal was assisted by Ethan Boone.

Trent Milne scored for Foothill.

Centennial 3, Silverado 0 — At Centennial, Adrian Martinez had two goals to lead the Bulldogs over the Skyhawks.

Manny Lopez had a goal and an assist for Centennial, which also got assists from Carsen Smith and Jesus Vargas.

Jacob Mays recorded the shutout.

Palo Verde 4, Las Vegas 2 — At Palo Verde, Presten Manthey had a goal and two assists to lead the Panthers by the Wildcats.

Bryan Montoya, Zechariah Ruffer and Nick Frost also scored for Palo Verde.

Fernando Gomez and Agustin Hernandez scored for Las Vegas.

Canyon Springs 3, Western 0 — At Western, Edgar Muniz and Eduardo Quintero-Rodriguez each scored a goal to lift the Pioneers by the Warriors.

Gabrial Acosta had the shutout with five saves for Canyon Springs, which also benefitted from an own goal.

Bishop Gorman 2, Valley 0 — At Gorman, Corrigan Neville and Alexander Daseler each scored a second-half goal to lift the Gaels over the Vikings.

Everett Hume had the shutout with two saves for Gorman.

Snowflake (Ariz.) 2, Green Valley 1 — At Show Low, Arizona, Estevan Uribe’s goal was not enough as the Gators fell to the Lobos in the Show Low Invitational.

Leonardo Cipili assisted on Uribe’s goal.

Blue Ridge (Ariz.) 4, Green Valley 0 — At Show Low, Arizona, the Gators were shutout by the Yellow Jackets in the Show Low Invitational.
