BOYS SOCCER: Cowboys rally past Sunrise Mountain

Chaparral's boys soccer team scored three second-half goals Thursday to rally for a 3-2 victory over host Sunrise Mountain.

Jose Morales, Oscar Godoy and Saul Gonzalez each scored for the Cowboys, who trailed 1-0 at the half.

Jose Arreola and Cristian Cerritteno each had a goal and an assist for the Miners.

Green Valley 2, Coronado 1 — At Green Valley, Ricardo Nunez and Connor Malone each scored second-half goals to lead the Gators past the Cougars.

Malone assisted on Nunez's goal.

Michael Schwob scored the Cougars' goal on a penalty kick with two minutes remaining in the match.

Bishop Gorman 2, Palo Verde 2 — At Palo Verde, Alex Daseler and Justin Rasmussen each scored once to help the Gaels tie the Panthers.

Teagan Jarvis and Bryan Montoya scored for Palo Verde.

Foothill 2, Eldorado 1 — At Foothill, Reagan Mugume scored on a penalty kick with 12 minutes remaining to lift the Falcons over the Sundevils.

Foothill's Michael Carnahan scored on an assist from Parker Erickson to tie the game at 1-1.

Cesar Tapia scored for Eldorado.

Desert Pines 1, Tech 1 — At Tech, the Jaguars and Roadrunners battled to a tie.

Oswaldo Medina scored Desert Pines' goal on an assist from Joel Sanchez.

Jaime Diaz scored for Tech with an assist from Asish Pandey.

Durango 4, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Luis Cabrera scored twice to lead the Trailblazers by the Mustangs.

Jamie Munguia and Oscar Rodriguez each added a goal for Durango.

Chase Castro scored for Shadow Ridge.

Faith Lutheran 3, Adelson School 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Logan Buckley had two goals and an assist as the Crusaders beat the Lions.

Harut Khachoyan added a goal and an assist for Faith Lutheran.

Phil Starcher made two saves to get the shutout.

Virgin Valley 6, Boulder City 1 — At Mesquite, Miguel Escobedo scored three goals to lead the Bulldogs past the Eagles.

Moises Medina added two goals and two assists, and Christof Glad scored for Virgin Valley.

Caden Mendiola scored for Boulder City.

Del Sol 9, Moapa Valley 0 — At Del Sol, Ruben Ortiz had three goals, and Sergio Calderon scored twice to power the Dragons by the Pirates.

Johan Rodriguez had a goal and an assist, and Diego Flores-Diaz, Daniel Barajas and Zachary Harter also scored for Del Sol. Erik Serrano and Alex Lopez-Hernandez each had two assists for the Dragons.

Jesus Gallardo and Edgar Gazal combined on the shutout.
