BOYS SOCCER: Angel Colin, Efrain Mayorga help Bonanza knock off Bishop Gorman

Angel Colin and Efrain Mayorga each scored a goal in the second half to lead Bonanza’s boys soccer team to a 2-0 win over visiting Bishop Gorman on Friday.

Alan Villacebas made a save on a penalty kick and recorded the shutout for the Bengals.

Sierra Vista 3, Durango 0 — At Durango, Daniel Perez scored twice to carry the Mountain Lions over the Trailblazers.

Jesus Gonzalez had a goal and an assist for Sierra Vista, and Adem Vucetovic had an assist.

Sierra Vista’s Donovan McCree made eight saves in the shutout.

Spring Valley 4, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, the Grizzlies scored four first-half goals before holding off the Diamondbacks.

Jose Lopez, David Van Hoose, Ethan Omre, and Brennan Stevens each scored a goal for Spring Valley.

Haiko Hovac and Dakota Jersic each finished with a goal and an assist for Desert Oasis.

Chaparral 3, St. Dominic (Mo.) 0 — At St. Louis, Missouri, Ivan Topete’s two goals powered the Cowboys to a victory over St. Dominic in the Gateway City Classic.

Omar Miranda also had a goal for Chaparral, which scored all its goals in the second half. Miranda and Angelo Grossi each had an assist.

Juan Romero made eight saves in Chaparral’s shutout.

Adelson School 6, JV Del Sol 1 — At Adelson School, Ben Elharrar had two goals and an assist, and Dylan Soresman scored twice in the Lions’ win over the Dragons’ JV team.

Liddor Bega and Alex Sefia also scored for Adelson School, which led 2-1 at halftime.

Nevo Ziv had two assists, and Samuel Shain, Jalen Pitts and Jacob Elharrar each had one.
