Region cross country meets moved to Oct. 30
The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association has shifted the date of the regional cross country meets in Southern Nevada.
Originally scheduled for Oct. 31, the region meets have been moved to Oct. 30 and will be held at Sunset Park. The Sunrise Region girls meet will be the day’s first race and will begin at 10:30 a.m.
An NIAA spokesman said Tuesday that the change was made due to a large disc golf tournament that will be held at the park on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
The state meet will be held Nov. 8 at Sunset Park.
