BOYS BASKETBALL: Legacy rallies to stun Durango

Tim Jeffries, Darious Dunson and Kameron Delgadillo combined to score 38 points in the second half Thursday as Legacy's boys basketball team rallied for an 83-76 home win over third-ranked Durango.

Jeffries went 7-for-8 from the free-throw line and scored 13 of his 21 points in the second half as the Longhorns rallied from a 38-24 halftime deficit.

Delgadillo finished with 18 points, and Dunson scored 16 for Legacy, which still trailed 62-53 entering the fourth quarter before finally taking the lead with four minutes left.

Michael Diggins paced the Trailblazers with 26 points. Zyare Ruffin added 18 points, and Demetrius Valdez scored 15 for Durango.

Bishop Gorman 80, Shadow Ridge 74 — At Gorman, Zach Collins had 14 points, 12 rebounds, 10 blocked shots and five assists as the Gaels held on to down the Mustangs.

Charles O'Bannon had 26 points, and Christian Popoola added 17 points and seven assists for Gorman, which trailed 36-35 at the half and used a 30-10 third-quarter run to take a 65-46 lead.

Jerell Springer led Shadow Ridge with 30 points and 10 rebounds, and teammate James Fuller added 18 points and 10 assists.

Clark 68, Sierra Vista 59 — At Sierra Vista, Darius Jackson scored 18 points to power the Chargers past the Mountain Lions.

Keyshaun Webb had 13 points, and Trey Woodbury scored 10 for Clark, which led 33-21 at the half.

Maka Ellis paced Sierra Vista with 20 points. Calvin Richard added 16 points for the Mountain Lions.

Chaparral 58, Virgin Valley 50 — At Chaparral, Marc Silas scored 18 points to lead the Cowboys past the Bulldogs.

Richard Nelson scored 13 points for Chaparral, which took control of the game by outscoring Virgin Valley 18-9 in the second quarter.

Samuel Porras added 10 points for the Cowboys.

Zach Barnum scored 19 points to lead the Bulldogs, who also got 11 points from Cody Jones.

Mojave 66, Spring Valley 51 — At Mojave, Daryl Adams scored 24 points to lead the Rattlers past the Grizzlies.

Chrishawn Thomas added 17 points for Mojave, which led 30-21 at the half. The Rattlers made 17 of 21 free throws.

Ryan Frazier scored 22 points to lead the Grizzlies.

Del Sol 51, Moapa Valley 39 — At Del Sol, Bo Beagle scored 15 points to lead the Dragons over the Pirates.

Jamal McGruder added 12 points for Del Sol, which led 22-21 at the half before outscoring Moapa Valley 14-5 in the third quarter.

Jay Mortensen led the Pirates with 12 points.

Western 78, Pahrump Valley 63 — At Western, Kwan Carter scored 23 points to lead the Warriors by the Trojans.

Nakia Harris-Neal had 19 points, and Anthony Dodson scored 11 for Western, which led 32-23 at halftime.

Pahrump's Danny Foss had 33 points, and Nolan Toomer added 11 points for the Trojans.

Sunrise Mountain 73, Tech 49 — At Sunrise Mountain, Tyreke Robertson supplied 26 points and 12 rebounds as the Miners defeated the Roadrunners.

Tyri White made five 3-pointers and had 27 points for Sunrise Mountain, and teammate Theodore Williams scored 10. Rodney King added 10 assists for the Miners.

Paul Galang led Tech with 11 points.

Desert Pines 65, Boulder City 25 — At Boulder City, Trevin Abdullah scored 21 points as the Jaguars rolled past Eagles.

Greg Floyd and Capri Uzan each scored 15 points for Desert Pines, which led 21-3 after one quarter.

Peyton Koopman scored six points to lead Boulder City.

Adelson School 63, Tonopah 26 — At Adelson School, Jake Buchman had 23 points as the Lions ran away from the Muckers.

Jacob Elharrar, Miles Hagen and Brandon Pappas each added eight points for Adelson School, which led 22-4 after one quarter.

Tyler Kirkland led Tonopah with eight points.

Coral Academy 85, Quest Academy 50 — At Heinrich YMCA, Isaiah Spears and Brennan Rosales each had 21 points to lead the Falcons by the Knights.

Ryan Dijno added 15 points for Coral, and teammate Kaleb Robinson scored 14.

Word of Life 35, Indian Springs 14 — At Indian Springs, Malik Moore and Darnell Murrell each had eight points as the Eagles downed the Thunderbirds.

Donald Watkins and Nino Alvarez each had five points for Indian Springs, which trailed 10-0 after one quarter.
