Outlook: With only three lettermen back, including Marcy (9.0 points, 8.0 rebounds per game), the Mountain Lions are young.
“We expect to compete for a playoff spot with a young roster of nine underclassmen, including six freshmen and sophomores,” Ulrich said.
Smith (3.0 ppg) also saw time last year and likely will contribute more this season.
“Dom Marcy, who averaged neary a double-double, will anchor the middle,” Ulrich said. “Chaise Smith, a scoring guard, should also help lead.”
The Mountain Lions also should get some help from Dickerson, a transfer from Clark, and Ellis, a freshman who Ulrich expects to contribute immediately.
